Transfer & Vinyl Cut Printing
Here at Thread Arrows we offer a large range of various Vinyl cutting and transfer printing techniques. These services now include a brand new addition which involves our white ink transfer printing machines which lets us transfer print onto dark garments including black. For more information read on.
Transfer Printing
This involves taking a high resolution image (logo, artwork or design) and printing the image onto commercial quality transfer paper. We can print images in pretty much all formats including BMP,TIF, GIF, AI and Jpeg. The quality of the image we produce is directly related to the quality of the image you supply so it is important to supply a good quality image. Once the image is on the transfer paper it is then taken and applied using a commercial heat press and silicone release paper to the item of clothing.
Transfer printing is a fast, low cost way of producing small quantities of printed t-shirts or printed clothing.
Transfer Printing onto Dark Garments
Here at Thread Arrows we like to be one step ahead of our competitors. We now have the capabilities to Transfer printed sheets onto dark garments including black using our white ink transfer printing machines. This means you can now get amazing vibrant designs onto dark garments. Using brand new state of the art equipment Thread Arrows will be able to supply you with quality just as good as; if not better than, DTG on dark garments with a cheaper price. Using our dark garment (white ink) transfer machines this will also give you full vibrancy without the cracking or fibre problems you can get on vibrant designs on dark garments made from DTG. Along with this pre-treatment is not needed, which can cause irritation and a rigid garment from Direct To Garment printing in some cases.

Vinyl Cut Printing
Vinyl Cut Printing is a simple process usually for more simplistic designs or artwork, e.g. logos, text etc. Firstly, the logo or text needs to have an outline added. This is done using Coreldraw or Adobe Illustrator. The design is then input straight into a digital cutting machine which electronically cuts the design out of a single colour sheet of vinyl, flock or foil. The uncut areas of the design are then removed by a weeding tool and pulled off by hand. The cut panels are then taken and are applied using a commercial heat press and silicone paper.
