Our Client Bisarto was carrying out work for E.ON energy. E.ON in partnership with the Norwegian energy company Equinor, have been developing the new Arkona Offshore Wind farm facility in the Baltic Sea. The huge wind farm will have the capacity to supply over 400,000 homes in Germany and is the fourth wind farm to be built by Equinor.
“The wind farm will feature a total of 60 Siemens SWT-6.0-154 direct drive wind turbines rated at approximately 6MW each. The turbines have a rotor diameter of 154m and feature the world’s longest blades (75m), which allow them to provide an 18,600m² swept area.”
The Arkona wind farm required batches of between 200-400 T-shirts every 3 months. Every T-shirt requires a print on the front and back. They needed a quick turn around on every order. As soon as the email came through with the requirements we got to work on the T-shirts. Every order was completed within days of receiving it.
The Client often requested that the T-shirts designs for the back were different for set amounts, whilst the front design stayed the same for all. This meant 4 different designs being produced within days of receiving the order. After the initial order in 2017, we have been asked every 3 months to produce the t-shirts as they were so pleased with the professionalism and quick turnaround.
“Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel and Norwegian petroleum and energy minister Kjell-Børge Freiberg opened the Arkona offshore wind farm in the Baltic Sea in Mukran on the German island of Rügen today.”
